Semi-automatic 100 kV oil dielectric breakdown (BDV) test set, the top of the LD series, for testing the dielectric strength of transformer and insulating oils to international standards.

Key specifications

• Output: 0-100 kV AC
• Tests to ASTM D877, ASTM D1816, IEC 60156, BS 148, VDE 0370 (with appropriate test cell)
• Rate of rise 2000 V/s or continuously variable
• Digital voltmeter with breakdown-voltage memory; semi-automatic test cycle
• Center-tapped HV transformer with fast cutout at flashover and zero-start interlock
• Stirrer outlet for ASTM D1816 / VDE testing
